We were delighted to welcome a broad and diverse range of business leaders to our first-ever Business Summit, held in Guildford this week.
The event brought together stakeholders from across the public and private sectors, all united by a shared interest in helping shape the future of transport across the South East.
The summit centred around three key themes: energy availability, rural transport, and international connectivity. Through a series of focused workshops and open discussions, attendees explored the challenges and opportunities within each area, sharing their experiences, raising new ideas, and offering insights into how TfSE can support economic growth, innovation, and improved connectivity across the region.
The event was expertly chaired by our Business Advisory Group Co-Chairs, Vince Lucas and Daniel Ruiz, whose guidance ensured a productive and engaging atmosphere throughout the day, enabling delegates to contribute thoughtful and wide-ranging input across all sessions.
The feedback, connections, and suggestions gathered will play an important role in informing our future work, not only within the three core themes, but across the broader strategic priorities for the region.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all those who attended and contributed to making the day such a success. We look forward to building on the momentum from this event as we continue to work in partnership with the business community to deliver a better-connected, more sustainable South East.
