Draft Transport Strategy consultation pop-up events

Draft Transport Strategy consultation pop-up events

Join us at one of our pop-up events across the South East and help shape the future of local transport!

We are calling on residents, businesses, and commuters across the South East to participate in our latest ‘Your Voices’ consultation for our draft Transport Strategy.

We are keen to gather views about the strategy’s vision, missions, and transport priorities, which include improving accessibility to essential services, reducing disruptions to the transport network, and addressing the region’s growing climate change challenges.

To support the consultation, we are attending a number of pop-up events across the South East, throughout February between 10am and 4pm (please see below for more information.)

We are conducting these pop-up events to speak with you about the strategy and encourage more people to participate in the online survey, which is open now.

Councillor Keith Glazier said: “We are committed to listening to the views of the people who live, work, and travel in the South East. The ‘Your Voices’ survey and the pop-up events are vital ways for us to ensure our Transport Strategy is responsive to the needs and priorities of local communities. We encourage as many people as possible to take part and help shape the future of transport in our region.

The draft Transport Strategy aims to create a sustainable, accessible, and efficient transport system for the region. With your feedback, we can work together to meet the challenges and opportunities ahead.”

The survey will remain open until Friday, 7th March 2025, and will gather crucial insights that will inform the development of the final Transport Strategy.
