2022: Our year in review

With the year drawing to a close it is time to look back and reflect on 2022. Improving conditions for HGV drivers

The UK is suffering a shortage of HGV drivers. It is well publicised one of the reasons behind these shortages, is the poor conditions drivers face when it comes to roadside facilities. This week, Roads Minister Richard Holden has announced an additional £100 million of funding to improve roadside facilities. Reduce your carbon footprint

A carbon footprint relates to the amount of greenhouse gases released into the atmosphere by individuals, organisations or productions. According to Just Energy, the &#8216;ideal&#8217; carbon footprint should be between 2-5 tonnes per person, per year. Safe roads for all

Road safety week is the biggest road safety campaign in the U.K. Organised by the road safety charity, Brake, it brings together organisations and communities to talk about road safety. Strategic Investment Plan consultation closed

The consultation on the draft Strategic Investment Plan (SIP) is now closed and we are working our way through the responses in preparation for taking a revised draft to our Partnership Board for approval in November.&nbsp; The 12-week consultation saw more than eight thousand visits to the consultation website, 429 &#8216;engaged&#8217; visitors who either completed &hellip; <a href="https://transportforthesoutheast.org.uk/2022/09/27/strategic-investment-plan-consultation-closed/">Continued</a>

Landmark plan sets out the transport investment needed in the South East
