We are pleased to announce that the Department for Transport has awarded us grant funding of £2.065m for 2024/25. This is an increase of £340k compared to the previous financial year.

The increase reflects the great work that Transport for the South East delivered in 2023/24 in support of DfT and our delivery partners.

We also received £498k of local contributions from our local transport authorities. We are grateful for their continued support for Transport for the South East.

Together this funding will enable us to deliver our Business Plan for 2024/25, including:

• Progressing the Transport Strategy Refresh, which will go out to consultation this year.
• Delivering our Strategic Investment Plan by providing scheme development support to several local authorities.
• Further development of the Centre of Excellence, following the launch in June.
• Building our analytical capability, working with other STBs on the Common Analytical Framework.
